Liberia and Liberians captivate me. I blog about
the country’s politics and transitional justice processes, and its peoples’ aspirations.
I received a BA from Emory University. After graduating I worked as an intern in Nigeria with Constitutional Rights Project, a local human rights group. I then worked with Global Rights, an international human rights group, in Liberia. Most recently I worked with a foundation in New York. My CV (as a Word document) is here.
I like riding trains, the Sunday New York Times, and hummus. My favorite book is Acts of Faith by Philip Caputo.
I welcome feedback on this blog. My email is shelbygrossman (at) gmail (dot) com.
