Third Mainland Bridge

2013-01-21 10.17.01

Lagos Island, as seen through the smog from the Third Mainland Bridge, which is 7.3 miles long. According to Wikipedia and every taxi driver in the Lagos, it is the longest bridge in Africa. It provides a gorgeous view of the water and island, and with just the right amount of cars–enough to prevent speeding, but not so many that you want to pull your hair out in traffic–it’s a very pleasant drive.
