I’m flying back from a short but fascinating trip to Equatorial Guinea. I have so many new thoughts about the country, but for now, here is my favorite quote from a human rights activist. (I paraphrase.)
“I’m so sick of international groups saying they don’t want to fund our work because they don’t want to put us at risk. We’re adults. We know what we’re doing. Don’t infantilize us.”
