Report on bribes, delays, and controls in West Africa

I’ve come across an incredibly cool report by Borderless West Africa from last year that documents average bribes, delays, and controls for different land routes in West Africa.  There are a lot of figures like the one below, and they disaggregate the data by the kind of good being transported and who is more likely to be responsible for the stops in each country (e.g. police, customs).  Page 22 has a list of phone numbers for each country that you can use to report bribes.

I’d like to say I’m glad I don’t study Mali, but Nigeria isn’t included in the report.
