Special Court to house women prisoners

On 16 November 2009, two weeks after the transfer of Special Court prisoners to Rwanda’s Mpanga Prison, the Court handed over its detention facility to the Government of Sierra Leone.  The Sierra Leone Prisons Service will use the facility to house women prisoners.
