Chris Herwig has a great photo series on BBC about Concerned Women, a strong network of women in Nimba County. I blogged a lot about Concerned Women last year. They’re unique in that they’re not an official NGO.–just a self-supported group of women who work together to address their needs. A legislator from the area once told me that if you want to win an election in Nimba, you need the support of Concerned Women.

Hello, I like this blog.
Sorry not write more, but my English is not good.
A hug from Portugal
These women have such a powerful story and such a powerful spirit – BBC did a fine job with the slide show. Thanks so much for bringing it to my attention (and to others).
