The Trial of Charles Taylor blog just published an excellent and concise 12 page report summarizing prosecution and defense strategies, legal issues, and witness testimony for the month of May.
If you’re not following the trial religiously, you can read this report and then pretend that you are. Its analysis is spot-on, and most of the prosecution and defense strategies the report discusses can be generalized to the entire trial thus far.
And just for fun, I leave you with this excerpt from the testimony of a former RUF radio operator:
Pros: Can you state your name for the court?
Wit: Alice Pyne
Pros: Did you go by any other name?
Wit: They had a name they used to call me as a Radio Operator, Apple of Action
hey!!! I’m having trouble with the link to the report… any suggestions?
Hmmm…I just tried it and it worked for me. You could try going here http://charlestaylortrial.org/ and then doing a page find for “trial report.” Then follow their link, but it’s the same link I used.
Good luck, and sorry I can’t be of more help.
