New Truth and Reconciliation Commission Website Launched
Liberia’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission has launched an interactive new website: https://www.trcofliberia.org/. The TRC is “charged with the responsibility of investigating the root causes of the conflict in Liberia, amplifying historical truths and thereby undermining falsehoods that have overtime assumed the status of historical truths.”The user-friendly website allows people to upload statements about their experiences during the war, participate in discussion forums, and view video clips about the TRC.
