Zorzor
Zorzor residents watching a drama group perform a skit encouraging women to run for elected office. During some down time in Zorzor, I finished Fear of Flying by Erica Jong. In fact, I read two entire books during my four day trip. Funny the things you can accomplish when you don’t have access to Internet. It was weird reading such a sexually liberating book in a society that sexually oppresses women in so many creative and subtle ways.
I read that book a few months ago, actually…I felt very odd reading it on the metro, I kept holding it very close to me!
