Great article by Kate Thomas about a movie on child soldiers in the DRC that is being filmed in Liberia. Former Liberian child soldiers are being recruited as actors for the film.

And a Reuters article from today has the headline: “UN urges Liberia to outlaw trials by ordeal.” But that’s a little misleading, right? I think the government has already outlawed trials by ordeal. Didn’t the Ministry of Justice just revoke the licenses it had given to certain people to administer trials by ordeal? And the Minister has also spoken out several times against sassywood. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.
