A bunch of Chinese got sucked into a 419 scam. A Chinese guy had them pay $8,000 with the promise that he would take them to Liberia where they would get jobs working in a fish factory. He promised a $800 salary/month. 200 people fell for it, paid the $8,000, and came over here, only to find no functioning fish factory. They recently camped out in front of the Chinese Embassy in a successful attempt to get publicity for their plight. The Chinese government has started sending many of them back to China, but many are afraid to return, as they took out huge loans to pay the $8,000 and will be unable to repay it. I really do not see the joke or “thought provoking angle” in your title heading.
Anyway, the internet is a medium for free speech so who am I to say what you should or should not write!
You’re absolutely right. I changed the title heading. Thank you for your comments.
