One more thing to add to my previous post. About a month ago I wrote a blog entry about my experience having blood taken by a lab tech and a nurse. Both were Liberian. The entry describes the procedure as the most pleasant experience I have had with any health professionals–Liberian or non-Liberian–in a long time. My assessment of the health professionals I dealt with last week was not based on the color of their skin, but on their interactions with me and my brother.
