I am a graduate architecture student at the University of California, Berkeley. I am seeking information about the Ducor Intercontinental Hotel in Monrovia, Liberia. The project for my architecture design studio is to renovate the old Ducor Hotelr bldg. into a school. To do a renovation, however, we need to know the design and layout of the original building. That information has been difficult to find given the situation in Liberia and the age of the building. I have spoken to the lead interior designer on the project as well as the developer and they no longer have the plans. As a result we are having to reconstruct the building layout from photos. I saw the photos of the hotel on your blog and was wondering whether you had any other photos of the Ducor (interior or exterior) you could send me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if you do and send them to earthtogk(atsymbol)comcast.net
Thanks
