I hosted my first workshop! It went pretty well. 56 people came. Above: One of the speakers. Below: One of the participants.

Two things went wrong. First, the venue was double booked. I learned this 30 hours before the workshop was supposed to start. I had to find a new venue and alert everyone by email/phone/text message/signs etc. Everything worked out, though, and the new venue was more spacious than the original venue would have been. Second, after the workshop, the microphones were stolen. This is a story in itself, and deserves a separate blog post, which I will try to put up in the next day or two.
